just finished a portrait of my beautiful niece Olivia....

    thanks Speedy ...yes a different style with this portrait and smaller than usual...I had to keep the painting light for hanging purposes as Olivia is hanging it in her room at University and hooks are not permitted.. :)

    Love the portrait. What a cutie! The red is fantastic - it makes me think of a Warhol painting somehow...

    Glad you are painting again, I guess the shoulder is better now?

    BTW my computer has a glitch when viewing your blog, the header is underneath the body of the page and stays put when the rest scrolls up and down - I think it's the header, it says 'Laketrees' then there is a part of an image and then a bit of handwritten stuff showing ' Laketrees' and My Art'. It's probably a Mac thing - hope you don't mind me mentioning it.
