it was memorable because we had an earthquake while I was in hopital waiting to have Alexander haha...he was already a week over due so I think the earthquake wasn't a bad thing :)

Kim, I still remember exactly where I was when I heard that Freddie died - sitting in traffic, trying to merge from the north end onto the Second Narrows Bridge in Vancouver (anyone who lived there at the time knows how long that process takes). Some things just stick with you don't they?
I have to tell you how much I'm loving this portrait. I especially like the funky urban clothing - it gives this portrait such a wonderful modern feel to it, which blends so well with your particular style of painting.

My Beaver has been busy this holiday season in the frozen tundra of another Winter's Ice Age. Our 10th Grandchild, Robert “Bobby” was born three weeks premature on Dec 20, 2008… and, Bobby has been in and out of the hospital since he was born... currently, he is back in ICU.
